JABAL SHADA AL ASFAL

The word "Shada" means "to rise" and "to soar". Shadais part of the towering mountains of Al Baha and Al Aalaof the KSA, at an elevation of 2,300m. What is distinctive about the rise of the giant granite rocks, namely the giant stones majestically resting on the top, named Nadba, which tear through the sky at an altitude of approximately 200m, is the fact that the JabalShadaformation dates back to before the Cambrian Period, the first geological era of the earth’s formation. Among the main natural elements of this mountain are strange grottos and wide caves, the result of erosion over the course of millions of years.
